Work Experience
dez.2014 – Current
Visual Designer & A Lot More | Adentro
Adentro is the agency I founded to work with clients as a freelancer web and graphic designer. I helped over 15 companies to find the best solutions for their projects and problems, diagnosing obstacles and understanding their real objectives. We go from brainstorming creative concepts to product development, being it a brand redesign, a new website or a visual identity manual. Among my clients, two departments of the University of São Paulo - USP, Brazil’s most important University.
jan.2016 - abr.2017
Cofounder & UX / UI Designer | Widoox
I was one of the founders of a Startup focused on professional development and online education. I worked with ecommerce, developed sales strategies, used my knowledge in SEO (obtaining excellent results!), made the visual identity, logo and company website. It was truely a lab in which I could test different design approaches and heat map the results.
jan.2014 - dez.2014
Infographist | Folha de S.Paulo
I worked at the art department of the most important newspaper in Brazil, alongside the best professionals in my area and I learned the most from them. Under the constant pressure of publishing daily, I created infographics, creative graphic pages, videographics, informative games and among other things. One of them was competed for the Esso Prize of Journalism.
jun.2013 - fev.2014
UX / UI Designer | KNS
Company where I learned about Persuasive Design and User Experience. I worked with the programming team, developing user journeys, information architecture, prototyping and interface designs.
Sketch App & Invision
It's the tool that I use the most and the one I most enjoy using. I use Sketch to wireframe, prototype and design websites. I transform my static screens into clickable, interactive prototypes by using InVision.
I use it to design logos, patterns, icons, infographics, vectorial and isometric illustrations, visual identities, and web layouts. It used to be my main tool but lost its position to Sketch App. It’s probably the tool that I know the most, work faster and manage lots of shortcuts.
I use it to edit photos making simple modifications to enhance color, balance and contrast or creating cool creative effects. I work with smart objects and I have a non-destructible workflow.
I use it to develop books, editorial layouts, mainly anything with more than 2 pages. It’s a tool that I like and work fast with, being familiar with almost everything that it provides.
After Effects
I don't use it on a daily basis, but whenever I need I can find my way to develop my idea. I have done simple animations from scratch and worked with templates.
I use it on a daily basis. I'm able to quickly develop responsive webpages, basic animations, working with or without frameworks as Bootstrap and Material Design. However, I know that both are very complex tools and I still have a lot to learn.
JavaScript and Jquery
I work mostly with Jquery and I'm able to write sliders, animate menus, scroll animations, parallaxis effects, manipulate videos and SVG. I'm not an expert but I can find my way to make my ideas come true.
I'm able to program basic dynamic pages and their content manager. I can work with Object Oriented Programming and MySQL queries. I have used it on my latest school projects, in which I developed an automatic budgeting system.
